Tree Removal

Wood You Believe We Do Tree-Mendous Work?

Do you have a tree that’s on its last limb due to its age? Was it damaged in a storm last night? Too many trees blocking your view or throwing shade your way? Our team arrives on your property, assesses the situation, and removes trees quickly, but more importantly, carefully. Don’t want the whole tree removed? We trim, prune, and crop.

How to Handle Trees

Time for Tree Removal

How do you know it’s time for tree removal? A tree might be dead or dying and you don’t even realize it. Look for a brown, dry layer underneath the bark. Living trees should be moist and a whitish-yellow color when they’re thriving.

Other signs include:

  • Fungi (mushrooms) growing at the base of the trunk
  • Cavities in the trunk
  • Dead or hanging branches in the upper crown
  • Chipped or peeling bark
  • Cracks in the trunk
  • Fine twigs on the ends of branches without buds

We Branch Out

If you think you have a dead or dying tree on your property, our staff can help determine the health of the tree before deciding to remove it. We don’t make a move unless you tell us to. We might recommend giving your tree another season to improve before cutting its life short. You might just want a branch or two cut away. Ryt’s Landscaping can prune or trim tree branches that you can’t reach or are too big for you to handle.

Other Reasons for Tree Removal

Dead trees aren’t the only reason for tree removal. Maybe you or someone in your family is allergic to bees, and despite your best efforts a swarm keeps rebuilding its nest every year. Wind or lightning may have damaged a tree beyond repair. Perhaps you want to build an addition to your home right where that dogwood is standing. You’d rather have shrubs, grasses, or flowers along with an unobstructed view out of your window. Heck, maybe you want more firewood for the winter or you dislike raking leaves.

Replanting

Tree removal happens first, but what do you do with that bare spot on the ground? We help you seed grass where a stump once stood. Or, you might want a showy shrub or perennial wildflowers there. How about some ornamental grasses? Maybe you want a sapling there for the next generation to enjoy in a few years. Think about a fountain or stonescape as part of landscaping. The possibilities are endless for where that tree once stood.
